	Your dog won’t come when he/she is called…
	You take your dog out for a walk and you end up getting pulled all over the street!…
	You come home to find your dog has used your brand new rug as his bathroom!…

Oh - I totally understand — I have been there - done that!

I was disappointed with my dog — I was angry at him! I guess I was thinking he should know better.

But - Should he? After all he is a dog…..

So then I was frustrated - How the heck do I communicate with this dog? How can I teach him what is acceptable and what isn’t acceptable?

I know that yelling doesn’t work — yup - I’ve been there and done that too!

I knew I had to find a way to train my dog - teach him guidelines - what is and isn’t OK.

How do I go about training my dog?

I didn’t want to be spending my Saturdays at dog training classes! I also did not want to be paying all the money it costs to hire a professional dog trainer.

So……….. I started reading all I could on dog training. I knew I needed to find a way that would be easy. I also was looking for a way to train him that would be fun. I certainly did not want this to be a bad experience for him or me.

I was looking for information on;

	how to stop a dog from pulling on the leash
	stop a dog from barking — well it least excessive barking
	and.....More

 

Success! ~~ I Found It! I searched the web and I found my answers! First I found lots of free info -- but to tell the truth that information was too sketchy - there wasn't anything solid to back it up. And... I wanted - I needed -- Results! I found dog training books - that were being sold on the internet. I then checked them out - who was for real - who was offering a guarantee - who had the testimonials to back up their claims. I found lots of websites but only 3 of them fit my criteria.
